J&M Acres horse rescue in Maple Ridge, B.C. began in 1995. Since then we have purchased 300+ horses destined for slaughter and placed them in good homes. Our aim is to get as many horses as possible off the meat truck and into good homes.

Towards the end of September J&M Acres will be attending an auction. We are hoping to have as many of our available horses adopted out by then so that we are able to rescue more!
