What a beautiful little colt. Adorable! Congratulations on the lovely surprise, Victoria. Thank you for sharing a pic with us.
Tiny and beautiful! What is the difference, if any, between a miniature horse and a Falabella? I understand they were first bred in the French courts and then in Brazil, but that is all I know.

This is my 2 week old baby Falabella, Blu. He was born by surprise! My mare was a maiden mare and she was pasture bred until she came out of season so I wasn't totally sure when she was due. She didn't even show til 2 months before he was born. I had a baby monitor on her every night and came out one morning (with no show or evidence that she was ready the day before) and I had 2 faces looking out at me! He is a perfect black colt with stunning blue eyes!
Bah!Ha! Good observation, Annie.
Comment by Annie Raker on February 20, 2012 at 8:05pm I don't get excited on the foal watch until I see tails braided.
