OK Heather that explains why she calmed down after a bit.Maybe we can hope for a sane delivery. What little reascals these stalions in the makinbg can be right from square one.We had a not quite yearling once that sneaked up on Ken reached oveer the gate and grabbed his hat by the button on top and turned around and gingerly placed it right on top of a nice fresh dung pile. You would have sworn he knew exactly what he was doing. I wish I had a video of that it was pricelesss the expression on his horse face and the drama in his moves.Who says animals don't have personalities.or a sense of humor)

Maybe Jet should get a different name...he seems to be holding up to his name....lol

The way Jet was tearassing around the paddock this morning, I am surprised he didn't jump OVER the fence to get to the yearlings. LOL

Heather and Shannon, My thoughts were with you through the recent tragedy. Having you share those x-rays really made it real for us. Thank you so much for including your support team in that way.

Is Freya going to visit her hairdresser thisafternoon?

Oh what a silly boy! Seems like he is going to cause lots of trouble to his momma! Glad you scooped him up and all is better now.

Freya was extremely agitated because her mother was freaking out across the hall.  I pulled up cam 2 and TGIF was attacking the gate and hollering - her baby was gone.  I ran to the barn and it appears that her colt, Jet, rolled under the gate and was in with the yearlings.  I had to grab him, scoop him up and take him back to a very distraught mom who is very relieved.  Is this a sign of things to come....trouble in a little black package?  sigh...no stress would be nice LOL

Looks like she may be planning to be a bit hard to manage in her foaling. Hope all goes well.

She is eating at times but is also pawing and tossing her head vigorously. I think it will be soon.
