Think Gambit's name should have been "Rowdy". He is one busy little guy!

good on ya guys!!! you rock !!! you have done so well with all the mares and foals and your right the more you have foal down the more likely you are to encounter dramas but hey your there to help save their lives which you have done i think 3 times now thats amaizing!!! a friend of mine bred 1 foal this year and lost the foal so you can still have dramas even with only one... its the luck of the draw sadly. please dont ever go offline and i think its totally wonderful that you can tell us the truth its a top way to be educated when its all black and white and no lies. i so respect you guys for your honesty . hope all goes well with lil bottle bubbie and would be awsome to see tonja take him on - if she ever has her foal that is.......... - best of luck girls you keep up the teriffic work and i will keep watching from australia......

It's wonderful what you are doing here. I love watching and especially like your little buckskin colt...so adorable. Keep up the good work! Odds are in your favor the rest of the foaling season should Go GREAT!! Your facilities are so clean and everyone looks well cared for. I was watching when you came in last night and gave Ace a big hug, very touching. Sweet!! Lots of us out here are sending good energy to you all.

Heather I didn't mean to offend you. I am learning and am concerned because I don't want to make a mistake with my mare as it will be my first foal. I must say I give you and your daughter a lot of credit for what you do and the experience that you have, for which I have none. I also want to say thank you for the experiences you are willing to share with others. I have watched your last three horses foal and have and only want to do what is right. If I don't ask then I won't know. Sincerely, BarbaraAnn

yes, we will breed Pearl again. Rejection is not something that is normally repeated. Our vet has agreed with us on that decision.

Journey is doing very well. He is bottle feeding and is in our garage so it's easier for us to care for him every 2 hours. We are praying that Tonja will foal within the next few days so we can put him with her. She has raised orphans before.

The mom's on cam have names up in their stalls, except for Rowdy (sorrel Pinto) she doesn't have her name tag up yet...we've been so busy we have forgotten.

We have found that the more you have to foal out - the more likely you will encounter issues. We are very open and honest about what goes on at our farm. We could easily cut the cam and just tell you that Pearl lost her foal, or some other story, but we feel it's better to be upfront so we can help to educate others.

I have to say I've enjoyed watching Gambit! He is so full of it. A typical boy! And mom is just so laid back! Very cool to have this to watch.
