This page is dedicated to watching the mares on Mare Stare, starting with the mini mares at Mulligans Run Farm. But be warned....it is highly addictive.

Comment by Betty Kasper on November 30, 2012 at 7:50pm Cams still off. Must be a long vet session. Looking forward to seeing them on again tomorrow.
Comment by Betty Kasper on November 30, 2012 at 3:42pm She seems to have remembered the cams are down. sigh! Looking forward to knowing who is bred and how things are. Even the outside cam died. Hope you have a great day.
Comment by Heather Troglauer on November 30, 2012 at 12:21pm Vet will be here this afternoon to do some ultrasounds. If you want to tune in.....you'll see us in the alley if she doesn't remember to tell us to pull the cams. LOL
Comment by Betty Kasper on November 30, 2012 at 12:20pm What a dulll day! Almost as dark as night time on the cameras. Still keeping tabs on things at Mulligan's Run Farm. Hope things are going well for you. Looking forward to foaling season.
Comment by Betty Kasper on November 26, 2012 at 10:41pm Thank you Heather. I seem to remember them having to be stall to stall to foal too. Hope Dancer continues to improve. Looking forward to the new foals but I guess the first isn't due until February ro March.
Comment by Heather Troglauer on November 26, 2012 at 10:35am Oh - and the babies are on cam #2. Forgot to mention that.
Comment by Heather Troglauer on November 26, 2012 at 10:34am Today you will see a quad cam with our Alley, the front of the barn, a stall and a mare named Dancer. Dancer is colicky - or she was. She is standing now which is a huge accomplishment from this morning. I have withheld feed and given banamine. She has water, and is picking at whatever she can locate within reach. LOL
She is not a fun patient to have, so I'm hoping the banamine will quiet her pain and she will pass along whatever is ailing her. Her best friend Precious is in the next stall - they are inseparable.
Comment by Betty Kasper on November 23, 2012 at 5:12pm Thank you Heather. I know you have more to do than entertain us. I wondered about that one day. There was one that was rolling a lot. Glad it is better. My thought was you were gtting ready for the changes needed when foaling time comnes around.
Comment by Heather Troglauer on November 23, 2012 at 4:51pm Sorry for the lack of explanation - we had a colicky little one and had her in and out. It's the hay barn - overflow stalls. I will see about getting it switched back outside for you.
Comment by Betty Kasper on November 23, 2012 at 3:19pm Me too but it is better than stream not found.
