This page is dedicated to watching the mares on Mare Stare, starting with the mini mares at Mulligans Run Farm. But be warned....it is highly addictive.

LOL!
You keep saying this one is a favourite and then, that one is definately my favourite. I'm beginning to think they are all your favourites!
Comment by Heather Troglauer on April 5, 2012 at 7:12am Ace is very ready physically. She only made one slight change on the refractometer - we are looking for a jump. Hopefully soon. We have never had a holiday baby...maybe we'll get lucky.
Baby has a name already too....dare I share? :) Hoping for a filly, but the name will work either way. If she has it on Easter it will still be what I have chosen unless something just inspires me. Love this mare....definite favorite.
Comment by april leclair chang on April 5, 2012 at 3:05am Change my last comment to "She looks comfortable as a stump." She is doing this just to keep us up.
Yeah, I noticed that too. A couple of kicks to the belly and ears flicking back constantly. Is her right shoulder clipped or is it the camera angle?
Comment by Barbara F. on April 4, 2012 at 9:47pm Ok, I'm no expert, but Ace looks really ready. She keeps checking out her rear as though something is amiss back there!
I've just been watching you with Ace. How obvious it is that she loves and trusts you and you are so kind and gentle with her.
How is my little black-beauty miracle, and Raven doing?
Comment by april leclair chang on April 4, 2012 at 6:39pm I think she is getting uncomfortable now.
Comment by Heather Troglauer on April 4, 2012 at 12:30pm Ace is getting closer physically but not on the tests. However, we know from Dancer how deceiving that can be. she has been left in so I can keep an eye on her. She normally stays in anyway, but this way I can keep a closer tab.
Comment by Kel on April 4, 2012 at 11:09am The barn alarm was what I was looking for, thanks Vickie!
Uh,huh...I just checked in this morning, and I see that our little girl has her tail braided. She must be getting close. We're all cheering you on, Ace.
