Comment by joanne duston on November 4, 2012 at 9:31am Looking for interest from riders located throughout Atlantic Canada, Quebec, Ontario and New England who may be interested in applying! Rider levels TL through to GP, along with FEI Pony and/or Young Horse.
Same for auditors, judges and coaches who DO NOT want to miss this opportunity to learn from Janet and Debbie. Janet will be discussing the new dressage tests which come out in December! This will be a phenomenal clinic!
Nova Scotia Dressage is having a draw for a free rider entry (value of $450 for 2 semiprivate lessons). The deadline to enter is December 1. The draw will take place December 15. If your name is not drawn and you are still interested in applying to ride, deadline for rider application is February 15, 2013.
Comment by joanne duston on November 4, 2012 at 9:31am LOL! I think you're a bit far Vicki, but people video these clinics and they tend to go upon You Tube. There are videos of the Ingrid Klimke clinic I had last year on YT. I also have a lot of educational videos on my website www.novascotiadressage.com
:)
What a super opportunity! Wish I was around to come and audit it. "sigh"
Comment by joanne duston on October 28, 2012 at 11:00am Nova Scotia Dressage is pleased to announce the return of its popular Symposium Series. Mark your calenders for May 4-5, 2013! For the first time ever in Canada, NSD will be bringing to the MacMillan Show Center in Truro, Nova Scotia, one of the most popular and useful clinics ever presented, "Dressage Through the Levels", with DEBBIE MCDONALD AND JANET FOY!
Debbie and Janet combine their extraordinary (and practical) experience to create the ultimate learning opportunity that any rider, coach, judge or trainer would find helpful and enjoy. You'll get the useful perspective of an International judge and the unsurpassed assistance of one of the top riders in the World! This symposium has received RAVE REVIEWS all over the United States! Do not miss this opportunity!
Go to the Nova Scotia Dressage website for information and to download the auditor and rider forms or contact Joanne at joduston@hotmail.com

Comment by joanne duston on January 13, 2012 at 10:24am UPDATES: Look for a report on the Ingrid Klimke Symposium in an upcoming issue of Horse Sport!
Ingrid Klimke shared this incredible tidbit with us (and we have permission from her to announce it!). She has been awarded the title of "Reitmeister" from the German Equestrian Federation. She is the only woman to have received this distinction, and the only person under the age of 50!
Ingrid said that she would love to return to Nova Scotia! Rarely does she ever return to the same place twice, so what an honor for her to say that! The clinic was AMAZING! I extended the offer to her so hopefully she'll return either in 2014/2015!!
The Nova Scotia Dressage website has a new look with lots of info on dressage around the Maritimes and the World! It's an educational site where info is gathered for easy access. Also follow NSD on Twitter and Facebook, as well as Barnmice!
Cheers!
Joanne
Next Nova Scotia Dressage Symposium will be May 4-5, 2013. I shall announce who is coming in a few months but it promises to be a terrific one. I will be looking for riders to participate!
