"My friend had a lusitano type horse with quite boxy feet and up and down action. Did great in boots. However, cavallo boots on my 16.3 THB (NH type also) twist like crazy if you go beyond walk. They never rubbed but I felt they would if I rode…"
"Boots on the front can work but it depends on the horse, his way of going, what you want to do and how far you ride. The best way is to buy a pair (best you can afford as they fit better) and try them out. If they twist or rub, you will have to look…"

" I have seen this problem from both sides (sounds like a song!).

"Gayle, I am so impressed by you! What a great outlook you must have on life.
Do write and tell how you are doing.

Just moved to the Fenelon Falls area summer 2011. We have three horses right now: two 21 year young geldings and a 7 years old mare (my "retirement" horse as she is only 15hh and so easy to get on and off!). One of the geldings is my competition horse from my eventing and dressage days. The other is my hubby's trail horse. Nowadays, I am into mostly schooling at home and trail riding - too old to event (actually too old to fall off!). In 2012, opened Wildhart Equestrian in Kawartha Lakes area of Ontario, Canada.
