What is the best way to trim a Haflingers mane. My mare can't see but I don't want her to lose her shaggy appearance completely. Also her mane is so thick that it wants to fall on both sides of her neck.

I have two horses: a 21 yo TWH and an 8 yo QH. The TWH was my first horse and I got him when he was 9. I also have two dogs and a cat. You are only a little more than an hour away from where I'm moving to. My husband and I bought the campground "True West". We are very excited about it and as soon as we sell our house here in NH I'll be moving there to be together again with my husband and my daughter. I can't wait. I'm hoping we can hook up for a ride some time after I get there :)
