My love affair of horses started at a young age when I began taking lessons at Opportunity Farm in Nova Scotia, at the age of nine. From there, I went on to compete at hunter/jumper shows throughout NS and reached C1 level in pony club when I was 14. I graduated Ashworth College with a diploma in Vet Assisting and a specialization in Animal Care in January 2011, and then moved to Red Deer, Alberta in July 2011 to work at Horse In Hand Ranch, an eventing/natural horsemanship stable, as an Equine Assistant. I moved back to NS in December 2011, started a horse-journalism blog based in NS and NB and I am now looking for my newest equine mount and to start training in dressage.
