"Wonderful to hear all these nice developments, Nocturnis. It's been a long haul for you ... you deserve some good stuff.
Hey everyone, check out my Barnmice blog. The Scribe and I have been doing a lot of collaborating. Great stuff…"
"Hi Nocturnis! =) I guess those are good changes! =) Good to hear about your leg :) My leg is also healing ALOT better! I can do everything a 'normal' horse can do! It is only now a slight scab and a little bit of swelling :) Otherwise good…"
"I agree with you Cider and Mia! :) I'd say it's the humans that are hard to train!!! :)
Hi Bella, a week is only 7 days and I'm sure you'll make it with your human around. They are quite handy at times! :)"
"Hey, Bella! Welcome to the herd! Dealing with these things only gets better with practice, so hang in there. Soon, you'll be wondering what all the fuss was about.
The scribe and I have been working on our "demons" together and…"
"Bella here, my human has brought me to a very busy place. She says we will be here for a week, how long is that? I wish I were home in a my safe herd, these horses are ok, but my human keeps making me work! Do you know how hard it…"
"Lets see, this is Mia, I just got sourer and sourer, started refusing contact, went behind vertical then I inverted until my dumb rider heard me. Sheesh.
Cider here, we had about a 2 1/2 month break, I was not feeling completely right and I…"
"Both Mia and Cider here. We FINALLY have gotten our rider to change back to the Wellep bit, the odd one that is comfortable. Such an odd human our rider, it takes her a while to pick up OUR clear communications. Grumble, grumble,…"
"Not much... My human went to her grandparents farm for xmas and spent 2 weeks there. So I'm really lonely... :( And she's going back to skool on Wednesday... :( Not kool. She's to kool 4 skool. Others are to skool 4 kool! :) lol."
I am a very handsome Hanoverian gelding and I have to go around doing strange movements for something that my human calls "dressage".
Fortunately, I also get to go on lots of hacks in the woods. Sometimes when we're out in the woods, my human gets completely lost. I could easily find the way home, but I just wait while we wander around and my human figures it out. ;)
I also really like to jump. I would jump high, but my human only like to jump little fences. That's ok though, because when I'm in the mood, I just squeal and take a giant leap!
My favorite foods are carrots, apples, bananas and oranges. sometimes my human puts supplements in my food and tries to disguise them with molasses, but I can tell the difference and don't touch a bite!!
Hi Donnie! My human finally figured out how to get me my own page ... apparently I was under age for the profile and so the site rejected me,.Nevermind all that ... I am looking forward to chewing the hay with you and our new friends on Barnimce!
Oh Donnie boy! I'd love to join your lovely group, but I don't have a page to call my own. On my behalf, my human sends this message, to say indeed, I'd love to be your friend. (If you do it carefully you can actually fit these words into the tune for the verse of "Oh Danny Boy" -- aren't I clever?! :-)
Please ask your human how I can get a page of my own. I tried to create one but was refused :-( ... something about something not registering (literature is my forte, not computers, alas.) Until I hear from you I shall refrain from joining your group until I receive permission that my darling human can do so on my behalf, or until we can figure out how I can create my own page. That would be, as they say in current vernacular, way cool! ;-)
I await your response with much anticipation.
Your friend and fellow Hanoverian,
Shakespeare "Bear" McDonall
