I just learned that the Onaqui Herd, (located 40 miles SW of Salt Lake), has been rounded up. This herd has 43,880 acres of land and the BLM estimates that it can easily maintain a population of 199-210 horses. I have learned that they are only goin…

Well, I would like to see that too, but I would really like to see a demo of the TTouch acupuncture points in the Triple Heater meridian. Is there anything posted on that?

I just added a new post to my blog. The painting was inspired during the time the Budweiser Clydesdales were here. I had a great time painting them from life, I hope that Life shows up in this painting. "Before the Parade"

Hi Karen, I see yoiu are interested in the outcome of the wild mustangs as a PART of our Natural West heritage so I'm hoping you will take a look at the WILD HORSE GROUP and see a recent update & be willing to write those that are listed as contacts to put an end to the destruction of our wonderful heritage of the wild horse.. It's sounding more and more like if we care we better get active and let it be known or they are going to have the herds to such small numbers that they won't be able to reproduce in a genetically healthy way. It really is just sickening to do this to these horses.

Wow, Karen... percheron and TB, that is quite a cross! I love the name Comanche! He is just gorgeous, and good for you for rescuing him. I got Cisco from a breeder in Saskatchewan. My best friend and I went out there to ride a cattle drive and that's when I found her. She is coming 6 this year. I have had Cisco three years and I am lucky to board her with a friend who lives 5 minutes down the road. I ride western but the riding buddy and dear friend I ride with goes English. I just do trail riding and sometimes work her in the outdoor arena. We are both still learning together, too! Take care, Michele

Hi, Karen - was just taking a closer look at your photo and just have to say - what a very gorgeous horse! Can you tell me anything about your horse? Do you ride western or English? And, thanks again for the birthday wishes!
