I am a published writer/photographer and fine art artist. When I'm not up to my ears with that I'm busy at our farm, Willowview Hill. Aside from regular chores that come with owning horses you'll find me organizing clinics, making organic hay and training dressage horses. I've traveled extensively over the years particularly to Europe on horse buying trips and have imported horses from England, Germany, Spain, Portugal, and not Austria because couldn't get the SRS to sell me the horse I wanted lol. I have competed at FEI Grand Prix dressage level and believe strongly in classical training ( no rollkur thanks) and love the recent influence of natural horsemanship, Tai-Chi principles and the like in the dressage world. As a kid I worked summers at a pro showjumping yard in the UK., and love to trail ride. It was hubbie that turned me on to dressage bc he was trained from age 11 in London by a student of the great Alois Podhajsky. If you want to see my art it will be available at fine tack stores soon ( I hope!) and that has to begin with TheHorseStudio.com who also often use our horses for their photo shoots and who use my photographic works extensively on their site. I am hoping to release my new book " Blondie the Happy Haffie Horse," later this year!!
