Hi Tara, I just read your post. I am a three time cancer survivor. I have had; cervical, thyroid and esophageal cancers. When I was diagnosed with the esophageal Ca. I was told my life expectancy was 4 years at the outside. That was over 10 years ago and I am still cancer free. ( By the way my first diagnosis was at age 18, 2nd age 33 and last I believe I was in my early 40's.) I worked hard to be well. Surgery, chemo, radiation, as well as complementary treatments. But not only am I still here but I appreciate every moment that life has to offer.
