Returning to the saddle after having a baby

Well tomorrow i return to the saddle after a year off! Feelings are mixed, on one hand i can't wait but on the other i wonder will i fit into my jods and boots!!

Im am returning with an aim!! always good to have a focus :) I want to take part in a dressage test (and remember it) i want to fit into my dressage jacket (which still has labels attached after 18months!) and i want to do my ridining and road safety test.

So this is my first ever blog and im not really sure how it all works but i was told its kinda like an online diary! so here goes 2011!!

The plan was to get helped on to one of the schools ponies and go for a wee dander up the road, come back and have a cup of tea :) BUT i ended up on Oscar (fab 15hh ex-eventer) having a lesson with some of the younger members of the riding school, so walking, trotting and a bit of canter! It was great i felt a bit unbalanced for a while but it was soooo nice to be back in the saddle.

So its onwards and upwards from here!! Need to start learning a dressage test now!
