The thing I love the most about my horse is that she is mine and I love her with all my heart.

What I love most about my horse Paladin is his completely honest and spontaneous feedback to anything that goes on around him. He's never withdrawn or 'shut down' or stoic and feels the urge to 'comment' on just about everything. Example: Tried a few saddles on him the other day. His comment on the 'Ansur' dressage saddle was a satisfied look of bliss, licking and chewing and relaxation. Then came 'the other' saddle (no names mentioned) and his response: 'air nipping' at the saddle, grumpy face, evil eye. And we were only standing at the hitching post, no riding at all. Ha! Here's to you, my Paladin!

I love my horse because she greets everyone who walks by her stall with a nicker no matter who they are or if she is meeting them for the very first time:).

The thing I love most about my horse(s) is that they are horses.  Horses are very special animals and the fact that they let us humans be around them, ride them, etc. is truly a gift.

The thing I love most about my horse is that even though no one prior to myself gave her a chance in life, and even though she did not trust people, she gave us a chance together, and we are on our way to doing great things! She went form being the kind of attack horse whom Buck could not save in the movie "Buck", to one who is looking at getting regional and national accolades in two different horse sports! She has given me her all and her heart, and I just love her!

The thing I love most about my horse is his total acceptance of me. I know I can always count on him for his love and support no matter what. If I am having a bad day he can feel it..he will lay his head on my shoulder as if to say "it's ok Nick, I'm here for you". It's just such an overwhelming feeling of love. I know many of you know what I'm talking about..it's hard to put into words. Eclipse just makes my world a better place by being in it.
