Comment by Pam Bacon on December 20, 2011 at 3:31am My wish for the world is that everyone give consideration to the following:
"If a man earnestly seeks a righteous life, his first act of abstinence is from animal food."

Comment by Rachel on December 19, 2011 at 9:40pm My Christmas wish is for God to watch over all of our service men and women and guide them safely home. I am able to spend Christmas with my wonderful horses and family because of our military. I can not thank them enough. Merry Christmas to all.
Comment by E. Allan Buck on December 19, 2011 at 8:27pm From our home to all of your homes and families, including the horses, cats, dogs and whatever other creatures may inhabit your homes:
Our Prayer for Each of You
May the Winds of the Seven Directions bring to each of you
the tranquility of your “Spirit Within”
And that when you discover the Spirit as you the child
You shall walk in the Light of your Spirit
And that your Light will brighten the lives of all whom you are with
The Light of each of you will come together in a wondrous conjunction
The conjunction of the Lights that brings forth the healing
The healing of mankind and Mother Earth
Tranquility be with each of you
Tranquility of the Spirit we leave with you

I wish for a critical mass effect on human conscience about our connection and responsibility towards animals and the natural world.I wish that each person who lives or plays or does sports with an animal considers carefully and sincerely the kind of life they're giving them, and endeavors to improve it.

Comment by Leigh Erwin on December 19, 2011 at 3:40pm I hope that our horses (all "now wanted" or differently-abled) are strong and happy and can be examples - showing that horses offer love, compassion and awareness for us. My wish is for healing for us all on deep levels and for deep peace.
Comment by Catherine Girard on December 19, 2011 at 12:54pm I wish that the horses in the rescues heal from their wounds, both great and small, and find good homes with caring owners to live out their days with. With that wish, comes the hope that more horses can be helped by the good work these people do, and that the good generous spirit that is so alive throughout this Christmas season will carry over to better support these fabulous rescues throughout the coming year and for many years beyond. And finally, I hope the folks doing all of the work in the trenches here and on the front lines will find some peaceful, blessed time to spend with their families, their loved ones, and with their own wonderful animals in this wonderful season. Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a New Year filled with joy and many horse placements in the years ahead!
