Thanks Stina. This is encouraging. I often feel awkward or discouraged

when working with my 2 young horses in a 10 acre pasture. It seems like

nothing's happening, but maybe there's a lot going on that I don't realize.

This concept is very powerful. The video commented something to the effect that the challenge was believing that this approach could grow the bond. I think the challenge is that a huge number of people just can't believe that horses would willingly interact or work for humans. I have found the same problem in the education of children, people think schoolchildren will not work or learn of their own volition. I have seen the power of allowing children to learn if given free choice. Guess what, they learn probably more and the quality of the learning and performance is far higher. I don't see why it would be any different with horses. The only obstacle is the mind set of the "teacher". The teacher opens the door, the pupil walks through on his own.
